Fun Fun Fun

I am soooo excited about this hobby/life.  Bought a "few" scrap things yesterday - actually a ton of card stock - the new scalloped card stock from Bazzill.  Wow wow wow it is so nice.  So expect some (or should I say a ton) of scalloped pages soon!

Do you remember the first time your heard about scrapbooking?  A friend told me about these cute pages/album you can make were you can cut the faces of children out and put them in a school bus - or something like that.  Well I thought by myself NO WAY!  Not for me thank you!  I am not messing up my photos. 

I have no idea how it happened but I ended up in a class, walked away with my gorgeous page and thought "oh my.......".  By the way, the page I made that night is seriously UGLY and is in the bottom of a drawer.  This was around 4 years ago and I am still hooked and have been since then (expect when I was pregnant with my little girl - scrap stuff made me feel sooooo sick - imagine all the money I saved in those few months!).

I can scrap everyday!  Don't always have time but I would love to just scrap scrap scrap!  Am I the only crazy one!!!!? 

Box of Smiles

This was such a fun thing to make.  I bought a tin (from RediBox) and just stuck a whole bunch of stuff on it....Did not think about it much.

I call this a "Box of Smiles" because the idea is to fill it with photos that make me smile.  When I created the inside of the box/tin I made a little book....attached lots of ribbons and all the little things we have that we will never use on a page.

So when you look at the inside the box/tin it looks a bit messy, but that is what I wanted.  Nothing perfect just fun happy faces of the people I love.

Just add lots of little photos, stickers, ribbons, lace, staples, punched flowers....anything goes.

Birthday Tins

This was a real fun project.  I decided to make some birthday tins for party packs.  Got the tins from Readybox. 

After I designed each lid top - I laminated it and then stapled the ribbons to it.  I used some Purple Turtle (double sided tape) to attach the laminated lid tops to the tins.

All the paper and alphabets are from Basic Grey.  The tins were a real hit and most of the kids still use their tins for something else months after the party.
